UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative Bradley Busetto and UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Dmitry Mariyasin met with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Yerevan Deputy Mayor Vahe Nikoyan on April 28, 2017. The parties discussed the options and modalities of further cooperation for introduction and inculcation of energy efficient approaches in the daily practicies in perspective of the city's further development paths.

Importantly, the parties signed a Statement of Intent in the frames of “De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Retrofits” UNDP-GCF project on a number of demonstration projects for achieving higher energy performance of public facilities in the city.
