By invitation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, and co-financing by UNDP-RTF regional project, selected Armenian high school students from all over the country took part in educational summer camps at All-Russian child development centers "Orlyonok" and "Smena" (described in Russian here).  The purpose of the camps is to provide professinal orientation to talented kids, advocacy of careful attitude towards the environment, and facilitating introduction of modern energy saving technologies in domestic and industrial settings. The educational program includes events aiming to enhance cognitive skills, also hands-on trainings and developmental sessions on the issues of ecology, energy saving and energy efficiency.
