Another three-day training of teachers aimed at teachers of secondary schools and colleges took place from August 24-26. The event was organized in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia with the support of UNDP-GCF Armenia’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP) project.

The aim of the workshop is to introduce climate change related topics into the school curricula with a particular focus on options and opportunities of integrating climate change adaptation related issues into programs of various subjects, as well as to facilitate the development of climate change adaptation projects by schools.

The three-day training was attended by 179 teachers, representing 136 public schools from all regions of Armenia.
