The exchange visit for 15 rural women’s group was organized on May 22, 2017. The event was organized by Green Lane NGO within the frames of the  “Economic Empowerment of Rural Women Groups through Capacity Building” Project funded by Funded by UN Women Fund for Gender Equality. The overall objective of the Project is to economically empower women in 15 rural communities of Armenia and enhance their participation in the community- and household-level decision-making processes.

The welcoming remarks of the event were done by Mr. Armen Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Ms. Nune Sarukhanyan, President of Green Lane NGO . Ms. Diana Harutyunyan, Climate Change Program Coordinator, UNDP Armenia, delivered a presentation on the topic "Climate change and agriculture". Later the 15 rural women’s group exchanged their experience and shared their success stories with the participants.
