The workshop on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Energy Development Community Program was conducted on June 2, 2017. The event was organized jointly by UNDP Armenia, Union of Communities of Armenia and U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs' Professional Fellows Program. The objective of the workshop was to introduce US advance experience and exchange knowledge on energy management projects, initiatives and financing opportunities.
The special guest of the event was Veronica Rocha, Renewable Energy Branch Manager, Hawaii State Energy Office. The Renewable Energy Project headed by Veronica Rocha set a goal to reach 100 clean energy in Hawaii State by 2045. The event was also attended by the representatives of the communities, international organizations and NGOs, as well as by relevant experts.
