On June 8, 2017 a round table was held on “Women's Role in Energy” at “EcoLur” Press Club. The discussion was supported by the “Development of Armenia’s Fourth National Communication to the UNFCCC and Second Biennial Update Report” UNDP-GEF Project. The initiator of the round table was Nune Sakanyan, a Professional Fellows Program graduate. The Club hosted Veronica Rocha from 'Women in Renewable Energy' (WiRE) located in Hawaii State (US). The female representatives from the international organizations and NGOs, state and business sector.
