The main objective of the case study was to assess the impact of the “De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” UNDP-GEF Project on beneficiaries of municipal kindergartens in Yerevan, which were reconstructed, renovated and thermally insulated by technical and financial support of the Project.
The Environment and Social Management Framework and Plan (ESMF/P) was prepared for the Restructuring Proposal of the project De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits (5684), implemented in Armenia, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
"Consumers’ opinion of energy efficiency in thermally insulated multi-apartment buildings in the RA cities" survey was carried out by “Breavis” research and marketing companyin the frame of "De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” UNDP-GCF Project.
Collection and processing of the statistical data and compilation of the energy balance are the first steps for the analysis of the energy situation in the country allowing the assessment of the previous trends and formation of the future policy addressed to the development of the energy sector. Data in the energy balance enable the assessment of the energy efficiency level in the different sectors of the economy and households.
The guideline aims to support the communities of the Republic of Armenia to organize and manage energy consumption in community-owned buildings through the introduction of a community energy management system and the energy manager's institution.

The "Survey among residents of multi-apartment buildings in Yerevan" was conducted among the residents of 4 multi-apartment buildings (MABs) in Yerevan with the special focus on the impact of socio-economic status of household on its behavior related to the apartment heating and its readiness to cooperate with “De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” Project, which will serve as a basis for accomplishing/adjusting the criteria for vulnerability assessment of households.
The summary report reflects the results of the technical survey of seismic conditions for kindergartens of Yerevan Municipality.
